I Wasn't Gonna Do It...

Well, I said I wasn't gonna do it. I wasn't gonna talk about the foolery that is this season of American Idol, but I just can't take it anymore. I was really looking forward to this new set of judges, well all but one. I have never been much of a fan of Nicki Minaj, I always considered her a bit disrespectful, but I never kept up with the latest Nicki drama so there wasn't much of a leg to stand on. Turns out, I didn't need anything to stand on, she showed her true colors within the first 5 minutes. After watching more than once, I began to look at things from all different angles, not just the "Mariah Carey is a legend, Nicki is a newcomer so get in line" angle and I must admit, Mariah Carey can throw shade like no other, buuuttt... Nicki still isn't right. To me, it's like this- If your teacher said something insulting to you, you're not going to say something back, you're going to smile and talk about her under your breathe. That's the road Nicki needs to take, regardless of how she feels. First off, to be honest, I still don't know why Nicki's on the show like antyway, she is so not a singer and her stuff is just booooo now that it's like, who's bright idea was that? but we're not gonna go there now. At the end of the day, it's about respect and paying your dues. How would Nicki feel if she is fortunate enough to put in 20+ years and some young whippersnapper with a smart mouth and sharp tongue comes along and starts being disrespectful? She would be going for blood, even though that's exactly what she has coming to her. One day she'll see, this behavior will definitely come to bite her in the butt. Another thing and I'm done, why did they need a fourth judge anyway? Paula did it by herself with Randy and Simon for years and we loved it.

Moving on, Parenthood is over and the way they ended it, I had to double check and make sure it wasn't the series finale. They really cleaned it up nicely for the finale. It was a great season, Christina is still alive, Crosby and Jasmine are expecting, Sarah's boss/boyfriend is moving to be near his daughter, Julia adopted the little boy (I can't think of his name) and Drew got into CalU. It was a great ending. Let's move on.

I think that'll be all for this post, there's a couple shows I wanna do a special post about, all by their lonesome so let's just call it quits. Until the next time, maybe the next show, I'll see you when I see you. Au Revoir Mi Amores!
