Issues to address

Well, tonight was So You Think You Can Dance and there were somethings said tonight that I am DYING to address. Starting off, who the heck said Robert seemed arrogant? Present yourself, puhlease! (Danielle Straub voice lol) Are you jealous because while you're sitting at home, typing on your computer, he's headed for greatness??? I just couldn't believe someone actually said that, especially when they don't know him, to make that judgement. People are funny. Moving on lol.

Tonight was a good night for everyone. I think, like I said last week, very few are blowing me away this year so I can't expect greatness with every performance. Last year, maybe, this year not so much. Alex Wong, that was such a disappointment. He was definitely one of the top performers this season. I just hope he gets better. I cant imagine the show without him. But that would be interesting to see, the direction the show would take without its uprising star.

Another issue, why are the judges so easy on Jose??? Go Kat for sticking up for Adechike because these judges are really tripping this year. If I hear one more time about his purity and innocence and eagerness to improve, I'M GOING TO SCREAM. Ok he wants to improve, but he isn't. He still can only b-boy, barely. I remember when dancers for this show were universal dancers, every style they would do well in. Like after they were called out on it, they wanna actually judge him. Where they do that at??? Not over here. I just want fairness, is that too much to ask for?

Well, I gotta wait to watch the results show because it wasn't recorded and my brother all the sudden wanna be a basketball fiend and watch the Lebron press conference. When I watch it, I'm sure I'll have plenty to post! Until then, Au Revoir M'adore

Randomness (It's been awhile)

Well, I haven't posted a blog in almost a week, but it's been a crazy week. I had alot of last minute shopping and getting this, getting that, because I was traveling with my family to a church convention. I Never really got to sit down and watch my shows, which is a huge bummer, of course. I can comment on the church convention, though. AMAZING. I think I'm a different person now, like, my outlook on life has completely changed. Maybe, because it has. I was super excited this year because I've had a super amount of drama lately, almost like I couldn't get a break. Everything was coming from everywhere and I just need a nice break, some me and Jesus time. Total success, of course. Def a nice renewal. But that comes with the territory, of course lol.

Well I did get to see most of So You Think You Can Dance (stupid DVR). I don't think I've introduced everybody to my obsession. I think I just might be a bit of an addict, maybe lol. Its like at least once a week, I need my dance fix. That show gives me a high everytime I watch it I swear. It brings out the inner dancer in me. But this week, no one blew my mind. I was a bit disappointed. This whole season was a bit of a huge disappointment. I feel like American Idol was not always reliable for making the best decisions when it came to contestants, but I could always rely on SYTYCD to pick people that were truly the best of the best, and not who the public wants to see, or who would bring in the best ratings, just who was the best dancers they found that season. American Idol was full of contradictions, saying to someone at 21 they have time but an 18 year old is perfect. And slowly but surely, SYTYCD is going down that road. There were definitely contestants that should be on that stage that aren't, they're at home, watching it. I just don't like the road this show is taking, not at all. But don't get me wrong, I'm gonna keep watching.

Well I think that's all for now. Once I catch up on all my shows, I can write more. Until then, ta ta, darlings...

Monday Night Fever

Well tonight, I watched the Real Housewives of New York Reunion, Part 2. I missed the first part, but I'm not one bit lost. Ten Minutes in, I'm wondering, Why are we attacking Jill? I've always related to Jill in my own life situations and know that if I reached half the success she has gained, how fortunate I would be, so I took it a tad personal when every question was Jill, why this; Jill why that? It just seems like this was really a Jill roast, partially because she was given bad light this season and because she got sick of being a doormat. Sorry she decided to start sticking up for herself. And, I know she was let go before the first commercial break. I couldn't have agreed with Bethenny more when she said "Are we gonna crucifiy her?" I'm glad they moved on, I was really starting to get upset (as you can see lol)
I guess my blondness came out but I never noticed how much Sonja talked about sex. I never put 2 and 2 together, but after the clip fest for her entrance, I realized that's definitely her fav subject. She's a character, I think a nice little spark to the show, a happy spark.
Just realized there's a Part 3!!! OMG can't wait!!!

Also on tonight was The Secret Life of the Ameican Teenager. Is anyone else kinda over this show. I mean, I love what it's doing, by exposing the real issues American teenagers deal with, but it just seems like a case of bad acting. There are alot of newbies on this show and I believe alot of these young actors need to develop a little more before they dive so deep into such serious work. I don't doubt I'll still be watching, but only out of boredom lol. This season is pretty juicy, Adrianne's preggers (I think), Ben's the father (a bit surprising), Amy and Ben are getting back together (big shocker there), and Amy might be going to NYC. I gotta say the writers really know what they're doing, they can write a great script. If the execution was as good, then we could be in business. The show is doing very well though, it snagged a bunch of Teen Choice Award noms. Obviously, somebody enjoys their acting chops. They have definitely gained success, which is fabulous!

So tomorrow is The Hills and The City, along with So You Think You Can Dance (kinda obsessed with that show). I'm excited, def. Til then, over and out

Sunday Night-Miami Fever

I hope you've noticed how I'm stepping it up. I've got pics and everything. Kourt n Khlo should def hire me for PR, seriously lmao. So, I know I said I'd probably post on Monday, but I didn't realize Kourtney and Khloe take Miami came back tonight. Well, the first episode was pretty successful, I just kinda feel like the Kardashian shows are becoming a bit repetitive. I don't think I'd ever get annoyed to the point where I'm not watching, but it just seems like one show is just liek the other. Same drama, different city kinda thing. I'm still a fan and will definitely be watching this season.
Also, I'm beginning to take Khloe and Lamar's relationship seriously. I'm a huge anti-love person, so when I heard they were getting married after only one month of dating, I was in agreeance with Bruce, "They're running off lust and adrenaline." But, I can honestly say now that I believe the love between them is real. If not, they put on a good face. And with rumors arising that she's pregnant, I think this thing they got going must work for them. Because I've been watching for so long, I can't help but feel like I'm part of the family. I feel like I watched them grow and evolve into the people they have become and are now.
But, lets talk about the actual show, I'm glad to see that Scott and Kourtney are still together. I never fully supported their relationship, but things have changed. There's a baby, a life at stake. He needs a stable environment. But did anybody else notice that Scott was acting all better than everybody. Like, he doesn't even have a real job. He working on this, and working on that, but working on doesn't bring a paycheck in. I heard he gets money from his parents or something but I don't know if thats the truth or any of the details. Its just amazing how someone with no stable job can look down on people and treat people the way he does. At the same time, he could be just formed into that character through wrong time kinda situation. If every time you're on camera, you're in drama, then you're gonna be perceived as someone who's always in drama.
Well, Tomorrow is Monday, and I think there are al couple of shows on. We'll see, I guess. Peace Out!!!

Catch Up Time

Ok so, I haven't posted an entry in almost a year. OMG, that's a long time. Well, I have grown to love a few shows like So You Think You Can Dance, Glee, Real Housewives, Jerseylicious, the list goes on. I think for my first entry in a really long time, I'll just talk about some general TV themes I've noticed.
First off, has anyone else noticed this wave of New Jersey shows all the sudden. I mean, I was born and raised in Jersey, so I'm most def not complaining. Its just a shame that everyone took so long to realize how fabulous Jersey is. Its crazy because I've lived in Jersey all my life and have yet to see anyone who acts like the people in these shows. Everyone always acts so extra, like Jersey is a new typecast. It makes me want to talk in a southern accent or something, seriously.
Next subject. I'm realizing with every reality show I watch, just how staged these shows are. It's crazy, and ridiculous. It makes me wanna watch like CNN or something, at least its real lmao. I guess the fake keeps me coming back, because season after season I'm watching.
Finally, I've noticed actual music channels don't even play music anymore. MTV and VH1 only play music in the morning, like WTF? I miss just watching videos, tryna find new songs. I can't even watch MTV Jams because I got DirecTV. I never realized how much TV has changed over the years. But I guess I can't complain, at least it means advancement.
Well, that's all for today. I'll be returning most likely on Monday with a report. I'm not sure what coming on, but I'm sure it will be juicy!!! Au Revoir for now...
